The Lastra White Sugar features Lastra's signature crisp lines and organic shapes. An overlapping wooden mold, used for centuries to form cheeses throughout Italy, inspired this collection.
This sugar bowl with lid is created from Italian Stoneware using a mix of different clays including a stoneware clay that can be fired at higher temperatures and provides added strength to the product.
The clay is found in the Tuscany Region of Italy and a most favored material of artisian craftsman.
